If you want to show your SaysScore and reviews in your own design or system, you can fetch them with the API. It's REST and JSON, and these calls don't require a key.
Score and breakdown
GET https://api.trustsays.com/v1/companies/yourcompany.com
The response includes, among other things:
- saysScore: your SaysScore.
- reviewCount: number of reviews.
- distribution: number of reviews with 1 to 5 stars.
Reviews
GET https://api.trustsays.com/v1/companies/yourcompany.com/reviews
The response comes in pages of 10 reviews. Choose the page with page. The response also gives the total number and the number of pages. You can filter with:
- stars: e.g. 4,5 for only 4 and 5 stars.
- lang: the review's language, e.g. en.
- country: the country, e.g. GB.
- verified=true: only verified purchases.
- replied=true: only reviews with a reply.
- sort: newest, helpful, rating_desc or rating_asc.
Good to know
- Call the API from your server. It can't be called directly from a browser on another domain.
- Responses are cached for up to 60 seconds, so new reviews can take a minute to appear. Don't fetch more often than necessary.
- There are no SDKs and no public documentation yet. See examples on API and developers.
- Replies from your own customer service tool and topics via the API are coming later.
If it doesn't work
- 404: The domain doesn't exist on TrustSays. Use the domain without https and www.
- If you just want to show the stars, a widget is easier. See Put the stars on your website.
