Why was a customer skipped?

Customers are skipped if the email is invalid, listed several times, invited within 12 months, unsubscribed, or the quota is used up.

When you send invitations, we show afterwards how many were skipped and why. Here are the reasons.

The reasons

  • invalid email: The address doesn't look like an email address, e.g. the @ or the ending is missing.
  • recently invited: The customer has received an invitation from you within the past 12 months, or is listed several times.
  • unsubscribed: The customer has unsubscribed from invitations from you.
  • quota used up: The month's quota was used up when the invitation was to be created.

From the webshop and the API

Here orders are also skipped when:

  • one of your rules matches the order, e.g. under 100 kr. or a business customer,
  • the order hasn't reached the trigger you've chosen, e.g. not yet fulfilled,
  • the order has been cancelled or refunded,
  • your plan doesn't include automatic invitations. That applies to Free.

Why 12 months?

No customer should get the same invitation again and again. The rule also applies if the customer has bought from you again. The customer can always review you again themselves after 12 months via your profile or your review link.

Can we turn the rules off?

No. Duplicates, the 12-month rule and unsubscribes can't be turned off. You can increase the quota by upgrading.

Find the invalid emails

Rows with invalid emails aren't sent. Fix them in your file and upload it again. The customers who have already been invited are then skipped automatically.
