An internal note is a short message to the team about a review. The customer and other visitors can never see it.

How to write a note

  1. Open Reviews in the dashboard.
  2. Open the menu with the three dots next to the review.
  3. Choose Add internal note.
  4. Write the note, e.g. Kasper is calling the customer on Friday.
  5. Choose Save note.

It says The note has been saved, and the review gets the Note tag in the list.

Edit or remove the note

  • Choose Edit internal note in the menu, edit the text, and choose Save note.
  • If you want to remove the note, delete all the text in the field and choose Save note. The Note tag disappears.

Good to know

  • There's one note per review, shared by the whole team. If a colleague saves a new text, it replaces the old one.
  • The note can be no more than 2,000 characters.
  • Only write what the team needs. Avoid sensitive information about the customer that you don't need.
  • The note isn't a reply. If you want to say something to the customer, write a public reply or use Ask the customer to update.

If it doesn't work

  • If the item is grey, your role doesn't have permission to write notes. It requires Owner, Admin or Can reply.
  • If it says That didn't work. Please try again shortly., wait a little and try again.
